FAQ's

All the questions I field from members will be posted here so if there is something you want to know checking in here first may be faster than mail if no one who knows is online at the time.

How do you demolish a building?

This is an important thing to know, and something I get asked a lot, even knowing how I want my cities to be laid out when they are done I will still end up demolishing several buildings throughout the game.

If you click on the building to bring up its text box there is a red circle with a line through it on the picture of the building.  Click the circle and you will be prompted to demolish completely or demolish by one level.  To demolish a building completely requires dynamite which you only start the game with one of, also it yields no resources.  Demolishing by one level is what you will typically do, it is slower and deconstructs it one level at a time but it also nets you back resources.

How do I use X item?

To use any item out of your inventory you will click the (My Items) button under your lords picture.  Scroll through the pages or tabs at the top to find the item you are looking for.  Click on the (Details) button then click (Apply).  Its that simple.

The only difference is the Amulets, they are in the Chests tab and can be opened the same way but there is also a shortcut.  If you click the little Roulette Wheel icon in the lower left of your main screen it will allow you to use your amulets.
WARNING! When using the roulette wheel shortcut, if you have no amulets left in your inventory and you click through it again it will automatically spend your game coins to buy amulets for you!!!

Why can't I build X building or train X troop?

If you try to build a building that you cant or train a troop that you cant if you hover over the build/train/upgrade button it will show you a list of the requirements.  Any requirement that's not met should be shown in red.  Meet that requirement usually resources/research/prerequisite building, and then try again.  This also applies to research.
